In addition to information in your contract, here are a few reminders and other guidelines:

* Athlete/Team agrees to use sponsor's products and to promote sponsor in a positive light. Athlete/Team shall not obtain or promote any other sponsors that compete with Rudy Project Cycling Helmets, Eyewear or Goggles.

* As Ambassadors of Rudy Project, please familiarize yourself with our products and new 2008 line.

* As a Rudy Project Sponsored Athlete/Team, you are a representative of our company. One of your missions is to be an "Ambassador" for the brand. DO refer individuals interested in Rudy Project to our dealers or www.e-rudy.com to find a dealer, and if you know of a dealer that isn't carrying Rudy, please DO talk to them about becoming a Rudy dealer.

* Most importantly, please DON'T go into a dealer and pretend to be a consumer just to try on glasses, but DO identify yourself up front as a sponsored athlete/team member, ask if it is a convenient time to try on product, and DO introduce yourself to the manager and notify the shop you'd like to refer business to them.

* Athlete/Team agrees not to re-sell any products (any time, any place, anywhere including EBay), and understands that it is grounds for immediate termination of sponsorship. Products are non-transferable and intended for the use of the indicated athlete/team.

* Rudy Project retains the right to use athlete/team members' images for marketing purposes.

* Athlete/Team will behave in an appropriate way. Rudy Project retains the right to terminate a sponsorship for behavior that is damaging to brand image. Drug violations will result in immediate termination of this agreement.

* Rudy Project will allow ordering of backordered items, but we encourage substitution or choosing "in- stock" items. Any item(s) placed on backorder will be charged at UPS ground when they ship.

* All products are dispersed at the sole discretion of Rudy Project. Rudy Project retains the right to request products back, either new or used, if any of the terms of our agreement is violated. Upon request, products shall be returned within 10 business days or the Athlete/Team will be invoiced for the full retail amount of all products received from Rudy Project.

* The discounts being offered to you are of a substantial value, and are intended solely for the sponsored athlete/team designated in the contract. This offer is non-transferable and the Athlete/Team agrees to keep all pricing and sponsorship details confidential. Disclosing this information or re-selling product is strictly prohibited and could result in an immediate termination of sponsorship.

* We prefer that all sponsorship questions be submitted via the designated email address. For questions and concerns, please email sponsorship@rudyprojectusa.com.

* All orders must be placed on a credit card.

Athlete/Team Frequently Asked Questions

The following set of instructions explain the proper procedures for returns, exchanges, refunds, ordering issues, helmet crashes, etc. These are the same procedures that all Rudy Project consumers and athletes must follow.

Please read all of these instructions, as you are responsible for understanding these policies.

Returns

* Follow the instructions for mailing on the warranty page of our website (http://www.rudyprojectusa.com/products/warranty/index.htm). Please follow the instructions carefully; there is no need to call customer service or the sponsorship department for warranty issues.

Exchanges

* All athletes/teams can only exchange bank items on a 1 for 1 basis within 30 days. You can exchange your sponsorship product, but bank orders are not returnable for credit.

* To make an exchange, you must have an original invoice. Customer Service will make no exceptions to this rule.

* For example: If your Kontact helmet does not fit properly, you can exchange it for another helmet in the correct size. If you want to pay the difference for a more expensive helmet of equal or more value, you can do so. You can exchange a sport sunglass from your bank for another sport sunglass or pay the difference for another frame in our line.

Refunds

* Refunds are only allowed from the BRO site. All refunds are subject to a 30 day return with an original invoice. NO EXCEPTIONS. The item must be in its original packaging and never worn aside from trying it on for fit.

Status of orders

* Please take into consideration that your order ships by ground from California. If you live across the country or in Canada, your package could take a number of days to arrive. Please call customer service with your order number to request tracking information if more than a week has passed since placing your order.

* If you received an order and items are missing, this is most likely due to the item being backordered. Please review your invoice carefully for details. If the invoice notes that a certain item or items were ordered, look to see if the "quantity shipped" correlates. For example, if you ordered 1 helmet but your invoice says that 0 shipped, this means your helmet is on backorder and the item will ship when it arrives.

Backorders

* We encourage ordering items that are in stock. The quantity available is posted next to each product, so you can determine which items are on backorder if the site denotes that 0 quantity is available. Any items you order from either the BRO site or the Bank that is backordered will ship via UPS ground when the item(s) arrive. These shipping costs are your responsibility if you choose to order items on backorder. You can check the availability and status of backordered products on the BRO site. When the item no longer says "0 available", your item will ship.

Warranty for Frames or Helmet Crash

* Rudy Project has one of the best warranty programs for your glasses and helmets, also available to you, our athletes.

* Rudy Project sunglasses and ski goggles are warranted by Rudy Project North America for three years from date of purchase against defects in materials and/or workmanship. Rudy Project North America will replace or repair at our option, with proof of purchase, any Rudy Project sunglasses or ski goggles found to be defective during the warranty period. For this warranty to apply, purchases must have been made in the United States, Canada or the Caribbean from an authorized Rudy Project dealer (or directly through Rudy Project) and proof of purchase is required. Purchases made online through unauthorized dealers and/or auctions (ie. eBay) are not covered under our warranty. Only authentic Rudy Project products will be warranted. This warranty shall not apply to any defects or damage caused by improper or unreasonable use of the product.

* We do not replace your frame or helmet if it is lost or damaged in a crash, but our return/warranty department will notify you to what your options may be for replacement.

Warranty for Scratched Lenses

* The RLG covers all lens damage (e.g., scratching) from use or activity on all products that are in the current year's Product Catalog. RX or Prescription lenses are not covered.

* NOTE: You MUST send in your old lenses in order to receive the RLG on replacement lenses. We can only replace as many pairs of lenses as are sent in. (i.e. If you send in one pair of lenses, you can only get one pair back.)

* To use the RLG, please send the lenses and a check for $19.95 ($24.95 for Canadian customers) made out to Rudy Project North America to:

* If you are sending more than one set of lenses, please enclose an additional $5.00 ($8.00 for Canadian customers) for each additional set. i.e. Two sets of lenses would be $19.95 + $5.00 = $24.95 (In Canada two sets of lenses would be $24.95 + $8.00 = $32.95 Canadian Dollars).

Other Commonly Asked Questions

* Q: I don't like the sunglasses I ordered or they don't fit properly. What do I do?

* A: Follow the exchange policy listed above. You must exchange the unworn frame within 30 days with an original invoice. IF the sunglass has adjustable nose pieces and temples make sure you have properly adjusted them for your face. Adjustable Rudy's fit 90%+ of faces from our studies so before you send anything back make sure you have tried to properly adjust them, if applicable

* Q: I want to go into a shop to try on product. Is this ok?

* A: Please DON'T go into a dealer and pretend to be a consumer just to try on glasses, but DO identify yourself up front as a sponsored athlete/team member, ask if it is a convenient time to try on product, and DO introduce yourself to the manager and notify the shop you'd like to refer business to them. Keep in mind that referring business to our dealers is required as part of your sponsorship with Rudy Project.

* Q: Can I go into a Rudy shop and get my sponsorship discount through them?

* A: No, you can not do this, nor should you ever request this from any of our retailers. If you want to try and set up a club order through a shop you work with, contact sponsorship@rudyprojectusa.com and we can attempt to coordinate a Rudy night with the Rudy Representative in the area for a one-time order through the shop.

* Q: Why am I being charged shipping for backorders? Can I change this?

* A: If you would like your order to ship complete with sponsorship shipping rates, you must call customer service with your order number immediately after submitting your order to request that your items ship together. If you do not do this right away and your backordered item(s) ship via UPS ground, customer service will not be able to refund shipping charges.

* Q: I scratched my lenses. What do I do?

* A: Rudy Project has a great replacement lens guarantee (RLG). Please follow the warranty policies listed above or on our website.

* Q: I lost my frames at a race or crashed and broke my Rudy Gear. Can I get replacements?

* A: You can purchase a new pair of glasses or helmet through your BRO code, if it a warranty issue, please follow our warranty policy.
